ZINGA as a Stand Alone Galvanising System
ZINGA provides comparable protection to conventional galvanising without the need for topcoats.
Although ZINGA is only available in grey (the natural colour of zinc), the significant advantage of this form of application is that the ZINGA layer can be re-coated at any point in the future with the bare minimum of preparation and without compromising the integrity of the coating (see Re-charging of ZINGA).
ZINGA on its own is often used, because the structure is already on site or too big for the hot dip molten zinc baths.
Additionally ZINGA galvanising is commonly specified on delicate structures (wrought iron gates, sculptures) or when architectural demands require a higher standard of surface finish (no need to drill to de-gas, fettle).
For optimal protection, ZINGA should be applied in two layers of 60 or 90 µm DFT each.

ZINGALUSPRAY Galvanising Spray
Zingaluspray offers the film galvanising system ZINGA in an aerosol spray for easy small applications.
To match a Hot Dip Galvanised surface; Aluminium flakes have been added.
Zingaluspray still contains 92% Zinc in the dry film and provides cathodic protection to ferrous metals.
Zingaluspray is ideal for the repairing and touching up of damaged or old hot-dipped, Zinganised or other zinc coated structures.

Aluspray Aluminium Finish
ZINGA Aluspray offers a coating based on aluminium flakes in aerosol spray. It can be applied either without primer on an old, non-corroded hot-dip galvanisation or metallisation layer or as topcoat on top of ZINGA.
Aluspray is mainly applied for esthetical reasons as it gives a nice aluminium aspect.
